SEMI-DENSE COLD ASFHALT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

VODIASFALT is a bituminous emulsion in aqueous dispersion (semi dense paste), with added mineral fillers and thickening agents. The product is brown, when liquid; when get dried it becomes black. The dried film is completely waterproof.

PRIMARY USES

VODIASFALT is generally used for the waterproofing and the protection in the building and industry fields. It is ideal to waterproof foundation, walls, terraces, tanks, the external surfaces of piping and cement structures.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

VODIASFALT can be applied with a paint brush, roller and spatula. It can be sprayed after diluting. Apply VODIASFALT on clean and dry surfaces. Eventual cracks of the surfaces must be smoothed with adhesive mortars added with VODILATEX. The first coat of VODIASFALT could be diluted with clean fresh water at a rate of 40%. When the first coat is dry, a second coat is applied undiluted at a rate of 1,500 Kg/m². Placing a reinforcement layer of non-woven polyester (VODITES) of 40 gr/m² placed between each coat of VODIASFALT significantly improves its mechanical resistence is improved.Then you should apply on the dried film of  VODIASFALT  VODICOLOR BASE or VODIRALL ECO (coloured protective products).

PRECAUTIONS

Do not apply VODIASFALT when weather is bad, if rain or fog are expected within the next few hoursor at temperatures below +5° C. The product is sensitive to cold.
